The City of Montrose is requesting formal bids through the Invitation for Bid process to construct missing sidewalks on the eastern side of South Townsend Avenue between Woodgate Road and Hawk Parkway. All work will take place within Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) right of way. The project is being managed by the City of Montrose through CDOT and is partially grant funded. As required by the grant funding, only CDOT pre-qualified contractors may bid on and construct the project.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday August 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Montrose City Hall, 433 S. 1st Street, Montrose, CO 81401. Bids will be publicly received and registered on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the same location. Bids will be received no later than 2:00 P.M. on the above date. Late bids will not be accepted and it is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that bids (including signed addenda) arrive in the city's purchasing office by 2:00 PM on August 19, 2014.
Complete bid packets can be downloaded from the City web page at www.cityofmontrose.org under Department Services, Purchasing, and Open Bids. Addenda will be posted to the website and it is the bidder's responsibility to download addenda.
