The City of Montrose is requesting formal bids through the Invitation for Bid process to construct a bus transfer station at 431 South Second Street and streetscaping improvements on the north side of South Second Street between Cascade and Uncompahgre Avenues in Montrose. The project is being managed by the City of Montrose through the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) on behalf of All Points Transit and is partially funded through various state and federal grants. As required by these grants, only CDOT pre-qualified contractors may bid on and construct the project.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday June 30, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Montrose City Hall, 433 S. 1st Street, Montrose, CO 81401. Bids will be publicly received and registered on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the same location. Bids will be received no later than 2:00 P.M. on the above date. Late bids will not be accepted and it is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that bids (including signed addenda) arrive in the city's purchasing office by 2:00 PM on July 16, 2014.
