What is the rain check policy?

The management of the Black Canyon Golf Course wants players to receive value for the greens fees that are paid without having to worry about how the weather may change. This is Colorado and the weather can change very quickly. If a player is asked to stop playing by course staff due to inclement weather, we offer the equivalent value of the remaining holes in the form of a rain check. For example:

  • If $30 was paid for 9 holes, and your round was stopped after 3 holes, the value of the rain check is $20.
  • If 6 holes were played, that rain check would have a value of $10. Rain checks can be redeemed for greens fees, golf cart fees, or Pro Shop merchandise.
