Montrose, CO –  The City of Montrose is seeking an operator for the Black Canyon Golf Course restaurant. Anyone interested in operating a bar and restaurant at an established golf course, with a remodeled commercial kitchen, should attend a pre-bid meeting on November 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Black Canyon Golf Course, (BCGC), located at 1350 Birch Street.

The city recently issued a Request For Proposals, RFP, seeking a new restaurant operator. In addition to serving golf course customers, the restaurant benefits from the summer music concert series at the BCGC and other fun, well-attended BCGC events.

The November 27th meeting is mandatory for anyone interested in submitting a bid to the city. Proposals must be received and registered no later than Monday, December 3, at Montrose City Hall, located at 433 S. 1st Street. Proposals will not be accepted after this time and it is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that proposals packages, including signed addenda, arrive in the City Clerk’s office by 2 p.m. December 3rd.
