City Council To Hold Special Virtual City Council Meeting

Montrose, CO — The Montrose City Council will hold a special virtual meeting Tuesday evening, March 24, 2020, at 6 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, this meeting will be held virtually and can be accessed at the following link: https://zoom.us/s/634127881. Participants are encouraged to join via video, but a phone option is available through the link as well. 

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the city's emergency management protocols in response to the coronavirus. Police Chief Blaine Hall, Director of Business Innovation Chelsea Rosty, and City Manager Bill Bell will also update the council on the city’s ongoing COVID-19 emergency response efforts. 

The council will also consider the establishment of a temporary small business assistance program.

A recording of the meeting will be posted on the city’s YouTube, Channel 191, and Elevate channel 970 as soon as possible. If a citizen wants live access, they must utilize the Zoom link.
