Christmas Tree Collection Service Begins

Montrose, CO — The city’s annual Christmas tree pickup begins today, January 2, with the free service running through January 31. Trees must be placed behind the curb in front of your home in order to be picked up. 

Frosted trees or trees with tinsel, tree stands and/or ornaments will not be collected. Trees will be picked up each week by routes running Monday through Thursday. Residents can also drop trees off at the Public Works facility Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
