Montrose, CO – The City of Montrose will be closed on Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day. City Hall, the Downtown Visitor Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Montrose Pavilion, and Public Works will all close in observance of the holiday.
Police Department offices will be closed, however, officers will be on duty and responding to calls.
The Black Canyon Golf Course will be open. The Rusty Putter restaurant, located at the golf course, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., along with the snack bar.
The city’s trash and recycling collection schedule for the holiday week has been modified. For trash routes normally scheduled for Monday, September 4, residences south of San Juan Avenue and U.S. Highway 50 will receive trash collection services on Tuesday, September 5. For residences north of San Juan Avenue and U.S. Highway 50, trash pickup will occur on Wednesday, September 6.
The recycling collection normally scheduled for Monday, September 4, will instead occur on Friday, September 8.
