City Announces Memorial Day Closures

Montrose, CO – City of Montrose offices will close in observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 29, 2023. City Hall, the Downtown Visitor Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Montrose Pavilion, and Public Works will all close in observance of the holiday.

Police Department offices will be closed, however, officers will be on duty and responding to calls. 

The Black Canyon Golf Course will be open. The Rusty Putter restaurant located at the golf course will be closed, however, the snack bar will be open. 

City residential trash customers who would normally receive service on Monday, May 29, will instead be served on Tuesday, May 30, and Wednesday, May 31.

Monday customers located south of San Juan Avenue will be served Tuesday, May 30. Monday customers residing north of San Juan Avenue will be served Wednesday, May 31.  

Recycling customers who would normally receive collection service Monday, May 29, will instead be served Friday, June 2.
