Montrose, CO — The City of Montrose’s Building Services Department is updating its building codes and is hosting a public open house on May 22.
The city is updating its building codes to the 2018 International Code Council's (ICC) building code series to be in compliance with the Colorado Energy Offices’ requirement to have adopted one of the three most recent ICC International Energy Efficiency Codes (IECC) by July 1, 2023.
The city’s Building Services Department will host the open house on Monday, May 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The open house will be held in the Community Room of the Montrose Public Safety Complex at 434 South First Street downtown.
