[ARCHIVED] S 9th / S Cascade Closures

Beginning Friday, July 1, contractors working for the City will be closing S 9th Street between Townsend Ave and Uncompahgre Ave in addition to S Cascade Ave between S 10th Street and S 12th Street to all traffic for street maintenance. This area is to receive varying styles of treatment depending on the current condition. The portion of S 9th between Townsend and Cascade, in addition to Cascade between S 10th and S 11th is scheduled to receive a mill and overlay. These portions will be reopened to traffic after milling is complete on Sat July 2nd. The remaining portions of S 9th between Cascade and Uncompahgre in addition to Cascade between S 11th and S 12th is scheduled to receive a full depth rebuild. This closure is expected to extend through the end of July.  The City asks that all motorists and pedestrians respect all work zones and detours.
