Montrose, CO — The city’s annual Christmas tree pickup service begins Monday, January 3, and will run through January 14. Trees must be placed behind the curb in front of homes in order to be picked up.
Frosted trees or trees with tinsel, tree stands, and/or ornaments will not be collected. Trees will be picked up by routes running Monday through Thursday. Trees must be put out by Wednesday, January 12th, so city crews can do a final, city-wide sweep, starting on the 12th.
There is no charge for this service. For further information or to submit requests for pick up, please contact Public Works at 970.240.1480.
