Montrose, CO — City Councilors are inviting the public to attend the first in an ongoing monthly meeting series called "Connect with City Council,” set to begin July 20, at 5 p.m. The series is designed to serve as an occasion for citizens to have one-on-one conversations with council members.
Each Connect with City Council meeting is scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m. before the second City Council meeting of each month. The first of these meetings is scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
The Connect with City Council meeting is an opportunity for community members to speak directly with city councilors and have a casual conversation before the start of the council's regularly scheduled meeting.
Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (107 S. Cascade Avenue) on the city's downtown civic campus.
The council also meets for work sessions on the first and third Mondays of each month at 10 a.m. in the City Council Chambers.
Each City Council meeting is recorded and available for viewing on the city’s YouTube channel and the city’s cable channels, channel 191 for Charter customers and channel 970 for Elevate customers.
