With mainline sections of sidewalk and curbing complete, the project is now focusing on tieing the mainline sections together at entrances and driveways.
Access to Riverbottom Park remains detoured to Apollo Drive. As a reminder, the Apollo Drive entrance to the park is currently a two-way street, as a result parking is restricted to parking lots only to allow free flow of traffic on the access road. Pedestrians using the Uncompahgre Riverway Trail and looking to access Riverbottom Park may still do so via Riverbottom Drive.
The City asks that motorists and pedestrians please respect all coned-off areas and exercise caution near the work area.
