With underground infrastructure, roadway excavation and backfill now complete, the project is currently focusing on concrete installation. Significant progress has been made this week. Mainline sections of both sidewalk and curbing have been completed. The project is still on track for final completion in May.
Access to Riverbottom Park remains detoured to Apollo Drive. As a reminder, the Apollo Drive entrance to the park is currently a two-way street, as a result parking is restricted to parking lots only to allow free flow of traffic on the access road. Pedestrians using the Uncompahgre Riverway Trail and looking to access Riverbottom Park may still do so via Riverbottom Drive.
The City asks that motorists and pedestrians please respect all coned-off areas and exercise caution near the work area.
