Montrose, CO — The City Montrose and Habitat for Humanity of the San Juans have partnered to bring AmeriCorps NCCC volunteers to Montrose to help with clean-up efforts in the Tortilla Flats area.
The work crews will be in town from May 29 through July 13. Applications for neighborhood clean-up work are currently being taken on a first-come, first served basis due to limited supplies.
Applications are available online at http://bit.ly/NeighborhoodCleanUp, or at City Hall (433 South First Street) during normal business hours (7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday). Applications can also be found at Habitat for Humanity of the San Juans (1601 North Townsend Avenue) between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
