Montrose, CO – Residents living both within or outside the City of Montrose have an opportunity this month to deliver critical feedback on the current state of housing in the area through the city’s housing survey.
The City of Montrose's housing survey is open for the month of November and will give community officials important data to use to make decisions regarding our community’s housing needs.
Everyone is encouraged to take the survey, there is no requirement to live in the City of Montrose.
City utility customers will receive a paper copy of the survey with their November utility bills.
Take the survey online at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/FVY2X3Y.
The Spanish language is also available at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/VC7FZ6V.
Respondents are not asked to provide any personally identifying information.
Questions in the survey sought to understand where people are currently live and work, if they own or rent their home, and whether those responding are satisfied with their current housing situation. The survey also is seeking data on the cost of housing in relation to household income and what factors are contributing to residents moving in and out of Montrose.
City officials continually seek to find ways to improve obtainable housing in the Montrose region. Data from the survey promises to help with improving quality housing options for residents of the city and the region.
Utility customers may send the completed paper surveys back with their utility payment or they may be dropped off at City Hall, 433 South First Street in downtown Montrose.
