August 8. 2018 - Niagara Road Closed for Asphalt Mill and Overlay Work
Contractors working for the City will close Niagara Road (Townsend to Hillcrest) starting on Thursday August 9th. Contractors will be milling and patching back asphalt on the waterline trench and other failing sections of the street. In addition, the sections of missing concrete sidewalk, and curb and gutter will be replaced. The entire road will then be milled and overlaid back with striping to follow shortly thereafter. This work is anticipated to last 2 weeks. Any opportunity to reopen portions of the road while maintianing a safe work zone and not creating additional road hazards will be made. Local access will remain open for all businesses and residents.
