Collection Schedule

Recycling collections occur on the alternating, blue / green collection schedule. Blue carts are emptied on blue weeks and green carts are emptied on green weeks. See the Recycling Routes Map for the collection schedule for a specific location.

A sticker on the side of the cart indicates the day of the week that the cart will be emptied. Please note that your day for recycling collection may be different from your trash collection as these two services operate on separate schedules.

Holiday Service Interruptions


Scheduled recycling routes that occur on a city-observed holiday will be delayed until Friday of the same week. Alternative collection days for trash do not apply to recycling.

City-observed holidays are: New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
