Overview
The City of Montrose provides an abundance of parks, trails, playgrounds, recreational areas and open space.  These public facilities preserve and enhance the quality of life and environment in Montrose, Colorado.

The Parks Division of the Public Works Department maintains:
  • 26 developed parks
  • 118 acres of open space
  • Over 24 miles of concrete trails

In addition to providing an outstanding system of parks and trails, the City maintains greenbelts and planters and plans projects that beautify the community.

City park shelters can be reserved for private and public events.
