The City of Montrose, Colorado is requesting formal competitive sealed bids through the Invitation for Bid process for the removal and installation of several residential and commercial fences within the Grand Avenue right-of-way.  This bid is for all materials and labor necessary to complete the project.  Proposals will be publicly received and read aloud on December 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Purchasing Office, 433 S. 1st Street, Montrose, Colorado 81401.  Late Proposals shall not be accepted and it is the responsibility of the Offerors to ensure that the Proposal arrives in the Purchasing Office by 2:00 P.M. on the above date.

Complete bid packets can be downloaded from the City web page at www.cityofmontrose.org under Department Services, Purchasing, Open Bids.  It is the bidders responsibility to inform the Purchasing Office if downloaded from the Internet. All addenda will be sent to bidders who have received the entire bid packet through the mail, and those who have registered with the Purchasing Office after downloading the bid packet.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids.
