The City of Montrose is requesting formal competitive sealed bids through the Invitation For Bid process for Waste Water Treatment Plant Concrete Pavement Work. The work generally consists of removing existing asphalt paving, placement of class 6 aggregate base course (ABC), placement of CDOT Class D or P Concrete Pavement, and installation of approximately 60' of 12" dia. ADS Culvert. Proposals will be publicly received and registered on May 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Purchasing Office, 433 S. 1st Street, Montrose, Colorado 81401. Late Proposals shall not be accepted and it is the responsibility of the Offerors to ensure that the Proposal arrives in the Purchasing Office by 2:00 P.M. on the above date. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 12, 2010 at the City of Montrose Elks Civic Building at 107 South Cascade in the Cascade Conference Room at 10:00 a.m. followed by a visit to the site.
Complete bid packets can be downloaded from the City web page at www.cityofmontrose.org under Department Services, Purchasing, and Open Bids. It is the bidders responsibility to inform the Purchasing Office if downloaded from the Internet. All addenda will be sent to bidders who have received the entire bid packet through the mail, and those who have registered with the Purchasing Office after downloading the bid packet. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids.
